Production process of A572Gr60 hot-rolled H-beam

Heating: Heating the billet to 1100-1250 degree to ensure the plasticity of the material.

Rolling: Multiple hot rolling passes are performed on a universal rolling mill to gradually form an H-shaped section.

The advantages of hot rolling technology are high production efficiency and low cost, while ensuring the dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties of H-beams.

The delivery state of A572Gr60 hot-rolled H-beam produced by GNEE is usually hot-rolled (HR), and the surface may have oxide scale (Mill Scale), which can be used without further heat treatment.

Normalizing (N): Improves structural uniformity and toughness, but is rarely used for H-beam.
